As a yoga teacher, I try to offer some bit of advice to open class with. Today, from Yoga 365, the advice is as follows:
Acknowledge your weakness and to embrace your strengths...
By examining our weaknesses as well as our strengths, we are better able to understand ourselves. Today, take the time to know where you need assistance and where you are capable of offering similar assistance to others. Our vulnerabilities and frailties illuminate by contrast our gifts and strengths.
When we recognize our weaknesses, we become aware of when we need to enlist the knowledge and power of others in order to achieve our goals. This self-knowledge enables us to use the strengths we possess to move forward and offer our best selves to the world.
