The Law of Karma

BSA Meditation & Yoga -

The second law of success - The Law of Karma. Cause and Effect. That which we put out into the universe has and energetic force that comes back to us. Make your choices consciously and they will bring you and others happiness. This is what leads to freedom. Think and repeat: My choices are in alignment with cosmic law.

Om Shant~

Resting in the Hand of Destiny

BSA Meditation & Yoga -

Cradle yourself in the hand of destiny. Picture a softly lit room, its walls covered in soft fabrics, and in the middle of the room an enormous upturned hand. Climb into the hand and curl up in its cushioned palm. Feel the fingers gently close around you, enveloping you in protection and love. You are resting in the hand of destiny.

Fear is a State of Mind

BSA Meditation & Yoga -

"Fears are nothing more than a state of mind. Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure."

A quote to ponder today. Make it your intention for your yoga practice.

Mercy

BSA Yoga & Meditation -

Intention for todays yoga class: Mercy. As Shakespeare says: "That is, the more powerful you are as a person , the more power you will display through your mercy, and the less need you will have to display your symbols of authority."

Om Shanti ~

“It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth, how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received. It is the amount of positive vibration you have radiated in life that matters.” ~ Amit Ray

The wind is like the breath with a whimsical nature and carefree existence. Take time to meditate on what this statement from "Wind" means to you and how it shows up in you life. Soul Love

Wayne Dyer gives us some really simple suggestions of how to let your own soul clap its hands and receive your applause. The key is to love yourself as God does, for yourself alone. Here are some suggestions for adotping this kind of love into your life:

  • Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul. Look at those indicators of aging as merit badges and try to look past them into the part of yourself that has never aged.

  • Ignore the media that bombards your consciousness each day encouraging you to hang on to eternal youth. Be proud of yourself not for how you look, but for the content of your character. Repeat often the famous phrase from La Cage aux Folles. "I am what I am."

  • When telling the persons that you love of your feelings emphasize what you truly love about them rather than how they happen to look.

  • Comment on others for their inner beauty and refuse to partake of gossip that emphasizes appearances.

BSA Meditation & Yoga -

Humility is something we all should strive for. Mother Earth is a natural teacher when it omes to understanding how to be humble. Start by taking a time out for a period of solitude. Do nothing more than be silent. Give yourself time to be in nature listening to the sounds of animals and birds, wind and surf. Nature is a great therapy for rejuvenating yourself. "Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us."
- Wilma Rudolph

Get out that vision board and place in an area you can see easily. Take time to meditate on it daily and add a fire element to the south portent of your home. This is a wonderful way to move towards your vision.
