BSA Meditation & Yoga

BSA Yoga & Meditation ~

Here are some simple meditations to get you through a stressful moment. Place your right hand above your  left with forearms parallel to the earth and at heart level. Inhale deeply through the nose and raise the arms to eye level, then exhale and lower arms back to heart level. Repeat several times. Another simple stress relieving techniques is to take the thumb to index finger and then to next finger, etc. to pinky finger and repeat the words:"Peace begins with me." BSA Yoga & Meditation Tips

BSA Yoga & Meditation Tips:

Bringing the yogic attitude to work - 1. Do work that suits your nature. 2. Throw yourself completely into your work - take action with it! 3. Surrender to the outcome - do not set your heart on the results. 4. Do your work as service - it is not about the work that you do but rather the attitude you bring to it.. And always ask yourself: "Who and what does this serve" before taking any action. Namaste, Mary Jane

BSA Daily Yoga & Meditation Tip

BSA Daily Yoga & Meditation -

Here are some great quotes to live by:

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."

- R. Buckminster Fuller

"Men are born soft and supple; dead they are stiff and hard... Thus whoever is stiff and inflexible is a disciple of death. Whoever is soft and yielding is a disciple of life."
- Tao Te Ching

Take ownership of your thoughts and actions. Stand strong in principle but be willing to be flexible. ~Om Shanti Mary Jane

BSA Yoga & Meditation

Easy pose - Sukhasana. This basic yet powerful crossed-legged position requires effort while staying connected to a part of yourself that is innately joyful and at ease. When we are able to act this way - both on and off the mat - we are able to move through life skillfully without panic or fear. There is an inner life that you can discover in this pose that creates conditions for a relaxed yet alert state in both body and mind. Here's to Sukhasana pose!

Reverse warrior is such a wonderful pose to open the heart and throat while creating power in the legs. Inhale as you drop your left arm and rest it on your left thigh. Lift your right arm and gaze toward your right hand. Try not to back-bend from your lower back. You should feel very grounded in your legs as you extend your torso upward.Me in warrior 1 in zen Japanese gardens.www.fengshuiyoganj.com
