BSA Yoga & Meditation -

Meditating outdoors is one of the best ways to connect to all things in the universe. It also will open you you up to listen to the whispers from Gaia - Mother Earth. If the weather is agreeable, simply sit upon the earth and tune into the ebb and flow of your breath, to your heart and synchronize those rhythms with the earth. If the weather is not agreeable then sit near a window and follow the same ebb and flow pattern with the breath. For more ideas of how to actualize self through nature visit www.wisdomfromnature.com and delve into Mother Nature, A Bridge to Conscious Living.

Tunning in to each moment with full awareness is difficult. Practicing yin yoga helps to turn the momentum of energy inward and as it does it trains the mind to focus on the present moment. We find an old familiar feeling of childhood when we didn't think twice about watching the cluds go by. Spending time in nature is another way to stay present. www.wisdomfromnature.com

BSA Meditation -

Something to think about in your meditation today.

Anything that looks like chaos and calamity in your life is just the Universe’s way of saying ‘Trust me and we’ll make a life together that is beyond your wildest dreams.’ The key is to trust. There’s a bigger vision and purpose inside you that your small brain or Ego can imagine. The Universe has bigger and better plans for you. It’s your job to be of service and not get in your own way. You can only receive what you believe. When you trust you open yourself up to greater possibilities outside of your control or imagination. So what’s it gunna be? Fear or trust?”

BSA Meditation Tip:

The day presents with much earth energy so why not honor the vibrations of the earth in your meditation today. Sync the breath with the sounds vibration of the earth - the slow "hum." When you connect to mother earth you will find onesness and peace in your heart. For this is where the divine spirit lives and breathes. Why not open the heart today with bridge pose. As you set up for you bridge imagine your heart opening fully breathing along the entire front side of the body and radiating a pure light of love. Allow your mind and body to sink into spirit as you gaze upwards to father sky - the seed of all creation and love.

Standing in mountain pose ponder this thought:

My body moves towards the heavens but remains rooted into the earth. For more meditations with mountain and its wisdom read my new book - Mother Nature, A Bridge to Conscious Living.

Everything you take for granted is a blessing. Everything you fear is a friend in disguise. Everything you want is a part of you. Everything you hate you hate about yourself. Everything you own does not define you. Everything you feel is the only Truth there is to know. ~Deepak Chopra
