The Seven Rays

The Seven Rays

The seven rays or chakras govern the endocrine system and align to the seven major glands of the body. The higher man ascends on the ladder of evolution, the more these energy centers expand. The centers, usually described as wheels, rotate and can draw the radiations of perfection from the divine.

The lower 6 chakras are influenced on this physical plane. The root chakra can be overly influenced by objects and desires. The naval by passions including anger. The solar plexus by greed and fear. You can feel really stuck in life when this chakra is negatively impacted. The heart can be influenced by negativity. One becomes lethargic and not able to put the heart into anything. The throat can be negatively influenced causing one to be concerned only with power. The 3rd eye out of alignment moves towards intellectual arrogance. The crown is mostly underdeveloped. By turning to "I AM" presence this chakra begins to vibrate and enlightenment is reached.

Spend some time each day to meditate on the chakras. Wearing chakra beads helps to keep these chakras in alignment. www.fengshuiyoganj.com.

Be Impeccable With Your Word

Be Impeccable With Your Word~

In the book The Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz emphasizes the importance of being impeccable with your word. Your word is the power that you have to create a life of joy or a life of hell. It all depends how you choose your word. The Gospel of John in the Bible, speaking of the creation of the universe, says, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word is God." It is through the word that we get to express our creative power and manifest everything in our life.

The word is very powerful in that it can produce unbelievable beauty in your life or through its misuse create a living hell. Your word according to Ruiz is pure magic. This is not as easy as it may appear, as we are programmed to be less than impeccable with our words. Think about how many times during the day you have self talk going on inside your head. Have you ever stopped to listen to what you are saying? Begin to pay attention to the words in your mind, as this is what is creating your reality. If you want to change your reality, then change your words - become impeccable with your word.

Have a wonderful day manifesting the good things into your life.

Secret Knowledge

Secret Knowledge:

Distinguish between those who understand and those who agree.
He who understands the Teaching will not tarry in applying it to life;
He who agrees will nod and extol the Teaching as remarkable wisdom,
but will not apply this wisdom to his life.
There are many who have agreed, but they are like a withered forest,
fruitless and without shade. Only decay awaits them.
Those who understand are few, but like a sponge they absorb the precious knowledge and are ready to cleanse the horrors of the world with the precious liquid.

Nature~

Nature

Wordsworth, an English poet expressed his love for nature in his works. In his famous poem " Nightingale! thou Surely Art," he writes about the sounds of nature - the singing bird and how these elements of nature becomes therapy for all. By immersing yourself in the present moment, and shutting out all other distractions, you can allow a bird singing to relax you and connect directly to your soul.

I'm sure if you think about the most pleasant times in your life it had something to do with being in nature whether it was a day at the beach, a walk through the park on an autumn day or simply swinging on a swing looking at the blue sky above.

To explore nature like so many artists and poets have, try the following:

  • Sit under a tree and simply take note of your surroundings. Then close your eyes and listen to the ambient sounds that surround you.
  • Walk barefoot upon the grass or the sand. Let the earth sink deep into your soul.
  • Plan an extended time in nature on your next vacation and take a journal with you to record what you see, feel and hear.
These are just a few things you can do to reunite with nature.

The Power of Humility

The Power of Humility

Many have the wrong idea about humility. They think that being humble means we need to submit to others. In actuality humility is about letting go of arrogance and pride and when we do that we become the peacemakers of the world. We begin to walk in the power of divine source rather than our own power. This is very liberating. Humility is about being comfortable with who we are and with the divine. When we are humble it becomes easy to put others first. This is what makes us strong and capable of doing anything. When you are humble you can diffuse anger. When you are humble you can handle unfair treatment. When you are humble the less you have to prove.
