Nature~

Nature

Wordsworth, an English poet expressed his love for nature in his works. In his famous poem " Nightingale! thou Surely Art," he writes about the sounds of nature - the singing bird and how these elements of nature becomes therapy for all. By immersing yourself in the present moment, and shutting out all other distractions, you can allow a bird singing to relax you and connect directly to your soul.

I'm sure if you think about the most pleasant times in your life it had something to do with being in nature whether it was a day at the beach, a walk through the park on an autumn day or simply swinging on a swing looking at the blue sky above.

To explore nature like so many artists and poets have, try the following:

  • Sit under a tree and simply take note of your surroundings. Then close your eyes and listen to the ambient sounds that surround you.
  • Walk barefoot upon the grass or the sand. Let the earth sink deep into your soul.
  • Plan an extended time in nature on your next vacation and take a journal with you to record what you see, feel and hear.
These are just a few things you can do to reunite with nature.

Namaste,
