BSA Yoga Tip - 



On this first day of spring why not choose poses that ground you deep into Mother Earth. Choose poses such as malasana, happy baby and various standing poses. Rooting you energy deeply through the first chakra - (root base) will effectively keep you grounded and close to the energy of the earth. This is a time of year where much energy is churning beneath as budding flowers spring forth. Imagine the root chakra opening into the earth as a red pyramid shape acting as an anchor keeping the physical body in the earth plane. Allow the crown chakra to open fully and invite the heavenly energy inward to balance out the spirit within. Namaste - Mary Jane
