Simple Meditation

BSA Meditation & Yoga Tip:

This is a great and very simple meditation:

Sit up tall with your spine straight and a sense of relaxation through your body.  Place your hands in your lap; right hand sits in the palm of your left hand.  Close your eyes and focus them up to your brow point.  Inhale deeply, pause your breath for a few seconds and then exhale.  Okay.  You are ready.  Begin mentally repeating the following 4 distinct syllables:  Wah-Hay-Goo-Roo.  Again, you are not actually saying the words.  Rather, you are repeating them inside your head.  Focus your eyes at the point on your forehead slightly above and between the two eyebrows.  Remember where the eyes go, the energy flows.  You can use a timer setting it to 3 minutes and as this becomes easy for you, you can increase the meditation gradually to 11 minutes.  To end the meditation, take a deep inhale, pause for a few seconds and exhale.  Stay still for a moment feeling the subtle shift this has caused in your body and mind.  Remember this feeling and return to it whenever you need to during the day.  If you feel stressed or confused or have a decision that is tough to make, take 3 moments to do this meditation.  At a minimum, do it every morning when you wake up for 40 days straight.  After that period of time, you will be thinking and feeling better. #BSAYogaandMeditation. http://ow.ly/jd1He http://ow.ly/i/1InMK
